PREVIEW FOR THE 28TH EDITION: HIFLOW x GIFF
To mark its 28th edition (November 4th – 13th), the GIFF is joining forces with the HiFlow cultural space as part of their Territoire(s) cycle, which investigates virtual worlds and other metaverses! From September 29th, the Festival will be at the HiFlow sites to present the interactive installation Ever’ett (Camille de Dieu and Laurent Novac / 2022 / Switzerland / Interactive installation / World Premiere) and the inaugural conference “Retrospective and perspective: evolution of the notion of virtual world”. Moderated by Domenico La Porta, author, producer, and chief editor of Cineuropa, the discussion will look at the emergence and evolution of this fertile new space and its infinite possibilities.
This collaboration is a precursor to the GIFF’s Synthetic Worlds retrospective, the full program for which will be unveiled on September 15th!
