Moving beyond documentary to make us question the battles yet to be fought: using Iranian women's own testimonies of the trials they have endured to help us better understand the world.
Using digital creation to involve the audience in social issues: The Fury is an immersive impacting experience. Dealing with the evils of Iranian society and the maltreatment of women in prison, Shirin Neshat transforms her interactive piece into advocacy against the physical and moral violence inflicted on women in her native country. An impactful project that goes beyond simple testimonies, at a time when popular awareness of these issues is high.
